About PriceProven
Last updated
PriceProven keeps its own dated record of AliExpress prices, so that a shopper can see what a listing actually cost on earlier days before trusting the discount it shows today. It was founded by Tống Minh Khang and is paid for by affiliate commission.
In short
- We track 127,563 AliExpress listings; our price record starts on 6 August 2026.
- It is free. AliExpress may pay us a commission when you buy through our links; your price does not change.
- A price is judged only from readings we took ourselves, and a page says so when we do not have enough.
- We do not sell anything, take payments, review products or rate sellers.
1.What PriceProven does
AliExpress shows a price and a crossed-out “original” price that the seller chose. It does not show what the listing cost last week. We read the price of the listings we track on a recurring schedule, write each reading down with its date and never edit it afterwards. Product pages, the price history and discount checker pages and our browser extension for Chrome and Firefox all read from that one record.
The record is public. The price record page lists it day by day and offers the rows behind our main claim as a file, so that anyone can recompute our figures instead of believing them.
2.Who runs it
PriceProven was founded by Tống Minh Khang, who built it and runs it. It is a small, independent project: it is not part of AliExpress or Alibaba, and AliExpress does not review what we publish.
3.How it is paid for
PriceProven earns money in one way. When you follow one of our links to AliExpress and buy something, AliExpress may pay us a commission. It comes out of AliExpress’s side of the sale and does not change the price you pay. The foot of every page says so, and the affiliate disclosure lists where these links are.
Commission rates are not used to rank, sort or select what we show, and each product page prints the rate AliExpress pays on that listing. The affiliate disclosure sets out the details.
4.What it will not claim
We do not review products or rate sellers. The AliExpress affiliate interface gives us no star rating, review count, stock level or seller score, so our pages carry none of them and say “not enough evidence yet” where a judgement would need one.
We read listings in turn, so most are read every few days, and a listing’s price can belong to different options — a size, a colour, a bundle — on different days. Where our newest reading is not recent, or our readings are too far apart to be one purchase, a page gives no verdict. The methodology page states every such rule with its number.
We do not publish coupon codes we have not been given, or deadlines AliExpress has not set. AliExpress sets the final price at checkout, and the price that applies is always the one AliExpress shows you there.
