PriceProven is free to use. This page explains how the service is paid for, which of our links earn a commission, and what that commission does and does not affect.
In short
- When you buy on AliExpress after following one of our links, AliExpress may pay us a commission.
- The commission is paid by AliExpress. It does not change the price you pay.
- Commission rates are not used to rank, sort or select the listings we show, and product pages show the rate that applies.
- Our price assessments are calculated from prices we recorded ourselves, not from sellers’ claimed discounts.
1.How PriceProven is funded
PriceProven is a participant in the AliExpress Portals affiliate programme, an affiliate advertising programme that allows websites to earn fees by linking to AliExpress. When you follow one of our links to AliExpress and make a qualifying purchase, AliExpress may pay us a commission on that purchase.
The commission comes out of AliExpress’s side of the sale. It does not change the price you pay, and PriceProven does not charge you for using the service.
2.Which links are affiliate links
Links from PriceProven to AliExpress may be affiliate links. This includes the links on product pages and in the price checker, and may include links in our emails and in the PriceProven browser extension.
On the website these links pass through a short redirect on our own domain (an address beginning priceproven.com/go/) so that AliExpress can attribute the visit to us, and they are marked for search engines as sponsored links.
3.What affiliate income does not influence
We only list products that are part of the AliExpress affiliate programme, so every listing on PriceProven carries an affiliate link. Because of that, the existence of a link cannot favour one listing over another. What could, in principle, is the commission rate, which differs from product to product. We do not use it: commission rates are not used to rank, sort or select the listings we show.
Product pages show the commission rate AliExpress pays on that listing, so that you can judge our incentive for yourself.
We do not review products and we do not rate them. The AliExpress affiliate interface gives us no star rating and no review count, so our pages carry neither. A listing appears on PriceProven when it has a working affiliate link and image, a price under our ceiling, and a sales volume reported by AliExpress. What we add is our own price record, taken on a recurring schedule and kept.
4.How our price assessments are made
Our price assessments are calculated, not written. They compare today’s price with prices we recorded ourselves on earlier days, not with the seller’s crossed-out figure, which AliExpress does not verify and which 37.2% of the 81,676 listings we track set in the same 50-59% band. Order counts and seller names come from AliExpress and are reproduced as given. Where we do not hold enough history to assess a price, the page says so. 5.Prices and availability
Prices on PriceProven are readings we took at the time stated beside them, shown in US dollars. They can differ from the price on AliExpress when you visit, because of seller changes, currency conversion, regional pricing, shipping and promotions. The price, shipping cost and availability that apply to your purchase are the ones AliExpress shows you at checkout.

This disclosure is made in line with the United States Federal Trade Commission’s guidance on endorsements and advertising, and with comparable consumer-protection rules in the European Union, the United Kingdom and other jurisdictions: PriceProven may receive compensation from AliExpress when you make a purchase through links on this website.
