AliExpress shows one price and a discount badge. It does not show what the product cost last week, so there is nothing to check the badge against. We record a price for every listing we track, once a day, and keep it.
Works with any aliexpress.com product link, including the short ones the app shares. We do not need you to sign in.

Every listing we track is read once a day and the price is written down with the date. Nothing is copied from a seller’s “original price”, because that figure is not a price anyone was charged — it is a number the seller chose to display beside the one they are charging.
A reading is stored once per calendar day per listing, so a product we happen to see four times in a day counts as one day of evidence rather than four. That is why the counter above says days rather than reads.
We will not call a discount real or inflated until there are 7 separate days of our own readings for that product, and will not describe a seller’s claim as unsupported until there are fourteen. Until then a product page says what it has and stops there. It is a slower answer than a discount badge, and it is the only one we can evidence.
A price history tells you what one shop charged over time. It does not tell you whether a different shop sells the same product for less — that comparison is here, and on the products we track the gap reaches 16 times the price.
